A Climb you’ll never forget!
The Pointe de la Traversière is a stunning peak in the French Alps, standing tall at 3,337 meters on the border between the Italian region of Valle d'Aosta and the French department of Savoie.
Whether you’re a first-timer or an experienced climber, our expert guides will ensure you're fully prepared and comfortable, so you can enjoy the ascent to its fullest.
When you reach the summit, the breathtaking view will make every step worth it!
HOW IT WORKS :
- The day before your adventure, we’ll meet you in the afternoon at the Bureau des Guides in Tignes to try on your gear (boots, crampons, harness, and helmet).
- On the day of the climb, you’ll meet your guide in Tignes or Tignes les Boisses (we’ll send you the exact time closer to your outing).
- Once you're geared up, you’ll head for the start of the hike, rope up with your guide, and set off toward the summit of Pointe de la Traversière!
3 ROUTES TO CHOOSE FROM, DEPENDING ON YOUR AGE AND LEVEL:
- "Discovery": Introduction to rafting - 9 kms (from 7 years old)
- "Intégrale" : Haute Isère intégrale - 19 kms (from 11 years old)
- "Perfectionnement" : Doron de Bozel - 2 x 8 kms (for experienced rafters)

- The terrace of the Le Panoramique restaurant, located at an altitude of over 3000m, offers drinks and snacks and is the ideal place to relax after your outing on the Glacier!
- In the mountains, the weather can change very quickly, so don't forget to bring a hat, gloves and sun cream!
