A legendary ascent with breathtaking views!

Situated in the heart of the Vanoise National Park, the Grande Motte Glacier summit is a climb that’s accessible to almost everyone. With only a slight change in altitude, reaching the top doesn’t require exceptional athleticism—making it the perfect challenge for climbers of all levels!

Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced mountaineer, our expert guides will ensure you're comfortable and prepared, offering you the best possible conditions for a smooth ascent.

This is a climb you’ll never forget, filled with new sensations and offering spectacular views from the summit!

HOW IT WORKS :
  • The day before your adventure, meet us in the late afternoon at the Bureau des Guides in Tignes to get fitted for your equipment (boots, crampons, harness, and helmet).
  • On the day of your climb, you’ll meet your guide at the Perce-Neige funicular in Tignes Val Claret (we'll send you the exact timing in advance based on the lift schedule, which changes during the summer).
  • Once equipped on the way up, you'll rope up with your guide and head for the glacier, where your ascent will begin!
  • After reaching the summit and descending back, you’ll arrive back at the funicular departure point around 12:30/13:00. To wrap up your unforgettable experience, we recommend relaxing on the terrace of Le Panoramique restaurant, which offers a breathtaking view of the highest peaks in the French and Italian Alps!
