Discover the legendary Chevril cliff in Tignes

Whether you’re new to climbing or already experienced—whether you usually climb indoors or on natural crags—our expert mountain guides will share their deep knowledge of this thrilling and sometimes challenging sport.

From body positioning to specific climbing moves and belaying techniques, climbing is a comprehensive activity that lets you progress in a safe, natural environment right in the heart of the Alps.

All necessary climbing equipment—including shoes, helmet, and harness—is provided for every participant.

HOW IT WORKS :
  • We’ll meet you at the foot of the Chevril cliff, in Tignes les Boisses, right next to the Tignes dam (accessible by car or bus in about 15 minutes from Tignes le Lac or Val Claret).
  • After a brief introduction and safety briefing, your guide will help you get equipped with a harness, climbing shoes, and helmet. Then, you’ll head to the base of the rock face, ready for your first climb.
  • This is the moment you’ve been waiting for — your first route on the rock face awaits!

A must-try activity!
Usually not very comfortable in the water, the guides reassured me as soon as I arrived, and put me at ease in just a few minutes! My children were amazed and proud of me! Incredible sensations and landscapes that I won't soon forget!
